The SSC GD Constable Exam will be conducted in February or March 2024 . The eligibility criteria for the SSC GD Constable recruitment 2023 are as follows:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must have passed Matriculation or 10th class from a recognized Board/ University.
- The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 23 years as of January 1, 2023. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
The selection process for SSC GD Constable recruitment 2024 consists of four stages:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Medical Examination
The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and other regional languages . The CBE will consist of 100 questions, with each question carrying one mark. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. The questions will be based on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will consist of a race, long jump, and high jump. The Physical Standard Test (PST) will include height, chest, and weight measurements. The Medical Examination will be conducted to ensure that the candidate is medically fit for the job .
